About: Two Minutes of Grace
Grace is a certain beginning of glory in us. ~ Thomas Aquinas
Welcome to Two Minutes of Grace. I hope you’ll find it to be just that: a place you can spend just a couple of minutes and find grace and encouragement. I’ll be sharing the thoughts of many great minds and compassionate hearts with a just few lines of my own reflections. I look forward to getting to know you as you share your thoughts and heart here as we take this pilgrimage to the places of grace together.

Hi Debbie,
Thanks for stopping by my place. I’m glad to have found yours. It’s a wonderful place to be. We are grateful for grace, but terribly afraid that if we emphasise it too much, people will think (God forbid) that it’s free! And they won’t respond “properly” in obedience and service and faith. So grace is ok, we are told, but just not too much. Yet if God himself takes the chance of rejection by giving his grace freely to me, then the least I can do is take the same chance in my interactions with others. So, strength and grace to you in your ministry.
Hello Ian –
but I’ll keep at it.
I’m so glad to see you! Thank you for your kind words!
Oh, we are so afraid of going a overboard with grace, aren’t we? How perfectly you’ve phrased it:”Yet if God himself takes the chance of rejection by giving his grace freely to me, then the least I can do is take the same chance in my interactions with others.” I’m trying to write a bit about that for you tonight. I can’t quite get it (short enough for 2 minutes)
Thank you again for being here,
~ Debbie
Looking forward to it
Ian –
WP spammed this comment! They get it right most of the time, but not this time! Thanks! Me, too!

Hello Debbie
I followed you from Pastor J’s! Glad I did
I’m somewhat pressed for time now, but if it is okay with you, I ‘d like to come back and wander ’round a bit. If you see footprints, they could very well be mine
“I’m committed to writing posts that you can read in under two minutes. ”
Reminds me of the other Deb’s blog. I will definitely be back.
I like this
Blessings much,
ann
Dear Ann – So we have friends in common! Isn’t that grand! Please visit whenever you wish and stay just as long as you wish. My prayer is that this blog will be of some encouragement, but never an obligation.
I’ll look forward to your footprints! You’ll see mine on your step as well.
Warmly,
Debbie
